This feature now is integrated into the JoomGallery 1.5.7.
Please have a look at the configuration manager setting ‘Show editor links’ available for various views.

EN: Unfortunately, JomSocial does not offer us a developer version of their software without conditions which would be necessary for being able to write such a plugin.
JomSocial is Open Source since a few versions now, but there is still no public download possibility.
We are still willing to create a JomSocial Application plugin, but this is not possible as long as JomSocial doesn’t offer us the current versions of their software.DE: Leider stellt JomSocial uns bis jetzt keine freie Kopie ihrer Software ohne Bedingungen zur Verfügung, die nötig ist, um ein solches Plugin zu schreiben.
JomSocial ist seit ein paar Versionen zwar Open Source, dennoch gibt es keinen freien Download auf ihrer Seite.
Wir sind immer noch dazu bereits, ein solches Plugin zu schreiben, dies ist aber nicht möglich, solange JomSocial nicht regelmäßig aktuelle Versionen frei zur Verfügung stellt.cocodin

Quadratische Thumbnails wären für mich auch sehr wichtig. Dann könnte man mit dem Modul JoomImages diese quadratischen Thumbnails auch im Frontend darstellen!
Die Erzeugung von quadratischen Thumbnails sollte auch noch nachträglich im Backend möglich sein!
