  This would be a killer application. What do you need to develop it? A working copy of JomSocial component? I think it should be the same to use an RC version... They released 3 RC versions for free to let community test it. Why don't you try on the RC version? I'm sure they didn't put anything new about photo gallery in JomSocial 2.6.

  And, by the way, I think it should be great to also add a tag system for photos.

  I just added, that a user who pays for Jomsocial should also be willing to pay for this component. You don't buy a car and then demand free gas. As I need that plugin for 2 webseite I'm willing to pay - so please state here if you woud pay too - maybe the joomgallery guys notice that investing in a jomsocial copy will pay back :-)

  Mal anders gesagt, wer für Jomsocial bezahlt, der ist sicher auch bereit für ein entsprechendes Plugin zu bezahlen. Ich kauf mir ja auch kein Auto um dann an der Tanke auf kostenloses Benzin zu bestehen.

  Da ich dieses Plugin für 2 Webseiten benötige bin ich durchaus bereit dafür auch zu bezahlen, und ich denke der Grossteil der Jomsocial Käufer auch.
  Somit spricht nichts dagegen, dass Ihr euch als JoomGallery Team die Jomsocial Software einkauft und ein Plugin dann eben gegen Geld zur Verfügung stellt.

  your features lists jomsocial extension - is it available for this version of JoomGallery though. If not - when might it be. Big decisions rest on this.

  It's been over a year since I started keeping an eye on this plugin's status. In the meantime, some have got started, others are finished. This one's got nearly 3 times the number of votes each of them ever got, yet it's still just "planned"? We really need this functionality, yet it just refuses to happen. If there's some sort of politics preventing JG from supporting JomSocial, at least remove the plugin from this list and stop leading people on.

  I would also very much like to see this plugin done. I purchased JomSocial (and many other plugins) so I'd gladly purchased this add-on as well.

  Is there any road map for this plugin, any release date? Likemandrake has a great plugin for jomsocial so maybe the joomgallery developer should talk to him :) It would be realy nice if the plugin will be released soon. I think it will be good for joomgallery too ;)

  Очень нужная и полезная вещь! Плагин имеющийся на сегодняшний день не работает в JS 2.0.4 (((
  Очень жаль. Желательно что бы новый плагин показывал не только ссылку на страницу автора, а выводил непосредственно в модуле информацию об авторе взятой из JS.
